Rietveld Uncut is an annual exhibition organised by the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Its collaboration with Studium Generale results in a simultaneous online conference-week and exhibition hosted by the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, in which ‘the making and the thinking’ come together. In 2020, the exhibition was extended with an online show for which we designed and developed a flexible framework. Each year a new team of design students can adapt parameters of that year’s subpage to their design of the overall identity. These parameters are, for example, outlines of the images, colors, buttons, typefaces, and sizes of all of these elements.
