Everyday Urban Design
The Everyday Urban Design book series features case studies of architecture in relation to social contexts by the urban design program at the HCU Hamburg. We work closely together with the authors in the process of structuring text, image, and diagram, and reworking complex graphics into a pocket size format. The layout is space efficient and makes use of rotated texts and images, disrupting the linear reading flow. Our aim is to explore the book as an object that can be read from different angles and starting points. The covers are printed on different paper structures for each issue, enhancing the tactility of the books.
